( ((elapse)) ), a multimedia installation at The Vestibule, is a collaborative exhibition by Ocean and multimedia artist, Lauren Ruiz. The collective works explore motifs of horological decay, compression, sempiternity, and subterranean and aqueous time. Organized into three chronological themes, Synchrony, Continuance, and Sequentiality, ( ((elapse)) ) considers an embodied experience of time through video, sculpture, and text-based works.
